MOSCOW, Mar 23 (PRIME) -- The Yakovlevsky GOK ore-dressing plant, part of steel maker Severstal, can raise iron ore output by 46% to 3.75 million tonnes in 2022, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Yakovlevsky GOK became part of Severstal in 2017 and adopted a 2023 development strategy to increase output to 5 million tonnes.
Severstal invested about 22 billion rubles in the facility in 2017–2022. The investment plan for 2022 amounts to about 5 billion rubles.
